Biography

Anna Tokarska-Sawicka was born in 1982 in Opole, Poland. She is a mixed media artist, who is known for her studio portraits and fine-art photography work inspired by the XVI century artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo.

Before graduating at the Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in photography and multimedia, for over a decade, she was an internationally acclaimed top model living and working worldwide, mostly between New York and Paris. Working with the most significant fashion and publishing houses has greatly influenced her sense of aesthetics and continuously inspires her pursuit of beauty in her work.

Winner of international photography competitions, her work was exhibited nationally and internationally and widely featured by worldwide press.

Passionate about gardening, interior design, scenography, costume movies, culinary shows and cooking, jazz music, walks in nature, and abstract expressionism.

Currently, she works and lives in her hometown.
