In her solo show “Dis-appearances” at the gallery Quang in 2009, Isabelle Grosse has been presenting the international fashion model and icon, Anna Tokarska, beneath the light filtered through Church Saint-Sulpice, in Paris. The super model has been shooted without any makeup and, she was invited to erase any appearance. This basic direction operates an inversion of the fashion paradigm.
